married Mary Baker
(1790
- 1843) at St Nicholas Church, Abingdon, in 1814. Known
children:
All the children were baptised at St Nicholas Church, Abingdon. All the records noted William as being a bargeman, and the family living on Thames Street. I haven't been able to find a record for John. The 1841 census shows the family living with Mary's mother, Elizabeth Baker. Mary Ann and her family were living in the same street as William and Mary. Mary died in 1843 aged 53 years. She was buried at St Helen's church in Abingdon. She was noted as being of Thames Street. All the children with dates of death noted, died in Abingdon unless otherwise stated. |
