It seems as though John, as well as William, moved to Halling in Kent - although I don't know when exactly. John's first wife, Margaret, was buried at Halling in 1821 aged 59 years old. John went on to marry for a second time, to Jane Aingell, at Halling in 1822. William and his wife Elizabeth were witnesses to this marriage. John died at Halling in 1844 aged 73 years. His wife, Jane, had died in 1838 aged 70 years. married (1) Elizabeth

Elizabeth died in 1831 aged 47 years old. She was buried at Halling. Alfred and Harriet were baptised at Halling, Alfred was also buried there, aged 1 year. William and Elizabeth's daughter Sarah had an illegitimate son, George Heath, who was baptised at Halling in 1836. The 1841 census shows William, Sarah, Thomas and Harriet living with William's grandchildren George Strong, Eliza Harris and William Harris. The 1851 census shows that William was an agricultural labourer. He was living with his wife Sarah, daughter Harriet and two grandsons George Strong and William Harris.
